In fulfilling its mission of increasing financial literacy and educating Hoosiers about investment fraud, Indiana Investment Watch hosts several workshops and outreach events and attends fairs and expos throughout the state. Check the list below to find an event near you.

Tuesday, November 10 (Tippecanoe County)
Fraud Bingo from 6 to 7 p.m.
Klondike Library, Lafayette
Seniors are one of the most targeted groups of investment fraud. In this workshop, seniors will learn why they are targeted, how to spot a con artist and tips for avoiding common schemes promoted to seniors. They will also play Fraud Bingo, an interactive way to learn about investment fraud.
This event is free and open to the public.

Classroom visits from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Warren Central High School, Indianapolis
During these classroom visits, students at Warren Central High School will hear from the Office of Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita about investing and avoiding fraud.

Protecting Seniors from Investment Fraud from 10 to 11 .m.
OASIS Washington Park, Indianapolis
Seniors are one of the most commonly targeted vicims of investment fraud. In this session, participants learn why seniors are targeted, how to recognize a fraudster and tips for avoiding common schemes promoted to seniors.

Governor's Council for People with Disabilities

This conference is focused on disability issues and targeted to people with disabilities and their family members. The conference attracts more than 400 peopel with disabilities, parents, service providers, policymakers and more. Be sure to stop by the Office of Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita's table to pick up information on avoiding fraud and managing your money.

Department of Education Business, Marketing and Information Technology Conference
