2009 Ohio River Tour
 Indiana Agriculture Director, Anne Hazlett will join legislators and other members of the business community on an educational tour of the Ohio River and the McAlpine Locks hosted by the Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance.  The objective of this tour is to inform people of the importance of the waterway transportation system to Indiana's agriculture, society and economy.
Participants will experience the mechanics of river transportation; hear local businesses explain how they utilize the river; and discover some history of the area.  There will also be a chance to view some of the businesses along the Ohio River while being able to speak with local experts.  It is a great time to sit back, relax and experience the Ohio River in a way so few can!

Anne Hazlett will speak to members of the Delaware County Farm Bureau on current issues and opportunities in Indiana agriculture.

An Evening on the Farm
 Anne Hazlett will speak at a reception hosted by Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette to help promote the Ivy Tech Agriculture Program and further discuss with guests and sponsors the importance of Ivy Tech to the agriculture work force.
