Instruction at the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home is provided by a dedicated faculty and staff. We strive to give our students the skills required for a successful transition from the Home life to modern society. The educational process at ISSCH offers both a basic and challenging.
The school addresses the needs
of students in grades K-12. Average class size is 6-8 students.
Morton Memorial High School was constructed in 1931 and in 1935 the student population grew to over 1,000. Later that year, it was admitted to the IHSAA (Indiana High School Athletic Association.)
The vocational center offers students the opportunity to learn a transferable skill. Classes are designed around hands-on learning activities.
