The Indiana State Personnel Department publishes weekly a comprehensive directory of current employment opportunities within Indiana state government. Known as the Job Bank, the list of job vacancies also includes helpful information about the position such as location, minimum qualifications, and starting salary. Copies of the Job Bank are available for viewing at the State Personnel Department Customer Service Center, the State Department of Health Human Resources office, any local Workforce Development Office, and on the Internet.
To apply for a position, a completed application must be submitted to State Personnel or the designated agency prior to the closing date listed in the Job Bank. In addition to job history, education, and personal information, the completed application form must include job-specific information (job posting number, class code, and title of position) for each position. See the Indiana State Application for Employment for more information on proper completion of the application form.
