6th Annual Ride with the Governor
Governor Daniels joined members of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) to lead his 6th annual charity motorcycle ride through northern Indiana. The ride benefited the National Guard Relief Fund which provides grants for the families of Hoosier members of the Indiana National Guard or Armed Forces Reserves who have been called to active duty since September 11, 2001. The event has grown in attendance each year since 2005 with more than 500 bikers participating in the ride. This year the ride collected over $15,000 for the National Guard.
