Hoosier Homeowners

A large number of Hoosiers were affected by the disasters that occurred in late May and early June. Many of these homeowners and renters are receiving assistance through coordinated efforts between the state, FEMA and the Small Business Administration. Click on an image below for more detail.

Local Government and Infrastructure

Local governments and public infrastructure suffered significant damage as a result of the May and June disasters. Roads, bridges, hospitals, schools and water treatment facilities are among some of the damaged entities. The damage varies on a scale from minor to substantial. The information below provides an idea of the amount of infrastructure that was harmed as well as a breakdown of the number of different entities that have applied for assistance to repair the damage to the infrastructure under their jurisdiction.
