IC 5-1-18-10 requires that each political subdivision report any outstanding bonds or leases to the Department on or before March 1 of each year.
We request that you please save a copy of these forms to your computer, complete and submit a copy to us at data@dlgf.in.gov by March 1, 2009. If your unit has no debt to report, you do not need to fill out the annual debt reporting form; however, please send an e-mail or letter stating this and identifying your taxing unit and county.
Our records also indicate that we have not yet received an Annual Debt Report for the year 2007 pay 2008 for several taxing units. The Annual Debt Reporting Form and a list of delinquent units can be found below. We request that you please complete and submit a copy to us as soon as possible to data@dlgf.in.gov.
IC 5-1-18-7 and 5-1-18-8 require that political subdivisions entering into bonds and leases during a calendar year report these obligations to the Department on or before December 31, 2008. If your unit has entered into a bond or lease obligation during this calendar year, you need to submit a Post Bond Sale/Post Lease Execution worksheet.
